Are your materials Sustainable?
Yes! Sustainability is key for Natural Principles. Each material used is naturally occurring and will biodegrade at the end of its life cycle. All wallcoverings are digitally printed with environmentally friendly ink on hand-woven sisal Grasscloth.
What is Grasscloth?
Grasscloth is a naturally occurring material created by weaving strands of fibers back on a chemical-free paper. Natural Principles wallcoverings are created with hand-woven sisal reeds from agave plants.
How is Grasscloth different than other wallpaper materials?
Sisal grasscloth in twilight gray. When hung, grasscloth creates a panel effect. Grasscloth is a natural product that contains unique features and organic imperfections. These attributes are not defects, but normal occurrences found in hand-woven materials. Some of these natural characteristics may include color variations, mis-woven reeds, shifted fibers (revealing an area of omitted ink), or similar attributes. What ink is used when printing the Grasscloth?
All wallcoverings are colored with water-based vegetable dyes and water-based inks.

How do I install Natural Principles Wallcoverings?
To download installation instructions, click here. We highly recommend working with a professional installer. Your installer will be able to help you measure and estimate the correct yardage.

How much does your wallcovering cost?
The cost of our wallcovering is determined by the quantity needed for your space. You can find the price per yard of our wallcoverings on the specific product page. If you are a member of our trade program, please email us at hello@trevorfulmerdesign.com.
How do I order my wallcovering?
Head to the product page of your favorite wallcovering and click ‘Inquire’. Once you submit your inquiry, we will be in touch with order and fulfillment details to begin processing.
What are your shipping costs?
Shipping costs are calculated on weight and size. Please inquire with your desired wallcovering pattern and yardage.
What is the typical lead time for your wallcoverings?
The typical lead time for our digitally printed wallcoverings is 4-6 weeks plus shipping. Rush printing is also available upon request.
Is there a minimum order requirement?
Yes, there is a 5 yard minimum. Any orders less than 30 yards includes a $99 setup fee. We recommend ordering more than exactly measured. Check with your professional installer.
CUSTOM OFFERINGS
Can I match a wallcovering with a textile or floorcovering?
Yes, with Natural Principles you to mix and match patterns and scales. The patterns Off The Grid, Ascent, Lines and Braided have matching textiles (coming soon!), and Off The Grid, Ascent and Lines have matching floor covering patterns.
Do you print custom wallcovering colorways and/or custom grounds?
Yes, custom colors and grounds are available available upon request. Visit the product page of the pattern you are interested and click ‘Inquire’ to begin your request.
