Our installation services cover project management and setup of your project, white glove delivery, logistical coordination and final accessorizing and styling.  Furniture, lighting, art, and custom elements are installed on site with careful oversight, allowing the original vision to come through clearly. It's hands-on and meticulously curated so that nothing feels rushed, misplaced, or unresolved.

How Installation Is Managed

With us, installation is a coordinated process that supports full-service interior design and consulting projects. It is guided by two distinct phases that work together to bring the design to life: Trade Management and Delivery Management.

 

Trade Management focuses on preparing the home for installation. Our design and project management teams oversee trusted subcontractors, including electricians, plumbers, painters, wallpaper installers, carpenters, window treatment specialists, audiovisual installers and more.

During this phase, lighting is installed, millwork is completed, and finishes like paint and wallpaper are finalized. By the time furnishings arrive, the space is fully ready and aligned with the design plan.

 

Delivery Management begins once all trade work is complete. Our delivery team receives, inspects, and delivers all furnishings on a scheduled day or series of days, typically completing the install within one to two days. Furniture is placed, rugs are laid, accessories are styled, and artwork is professionally installed. We also thoughtfully incorporate clients’ existing pieces so everything feels settled.

To keep the process smooth, clients are asked not to be home during delivery. Once installation and styling are complete, we invite clients back for our reveal experience. The home is presented finished with music playing, candles lit, and every detail in place. We then walk through each space and celebrate the completed work.

These two forms of management are designed to work together as part of a comprehensive design engagement. Trade Management prepares the space. Delivery Management brings it to life. Our installation services are not offered for isolated or one-off tasks outside a broader design scope.


What Clients Should Expect: Our Delivery Installation Process

Pre-Installation Delivery Review

Before installation begins, we revisit the design plan. This includes reviewing layouts, confirming selections, and finalizing preferences.  This preinstallation delivery review helps guide placement decisions and set expectations for the day itself.


Site Assessment and Measurements

The pathways have already been carefully reviewed. Measurements are double-checked. Entry points, stairwells, and tight corners are assessed to prevent surprises during delivery. This step allows the design team to anticipate challenges before they arise.


Material Delivery Coordination

All furniture selections have been previously received, inspected, and stored are now ready to be delivered and installed. The delivery teams arrive with all approved furnishings and each item is thoughtfully and carefully placed in the appropriate space. Unwanted furniture is removed to be donated or disposed of. Our project managers meticulously coordinate to minimize disruption.

On-Site Professional Installation

On installation day, our team manages the setup from start to finish. Furniture is placed and details are adjusted in real time. This is where the interior design installation services truly shine, as every decision is made with the full space in mind.


Quality Check and Punch List

Once everything is in place, the space is reviewed carefully. Adjustments are made. Any remaining tasks are noted and addressed so that the finished result feels polished.


Client Walkthrough and Sign-Off 

Finally, we provide our client’s with a “reveal experience” where we walk through the finished spaces and celebrate the successes! We toast with champagne and snack on hors d'oeuvres, while soft music plays and candles provide aromatic smells. We engage all of their senses. This is a chance to experience the room as it was intended, ask questions, and fine-tune small details so the space feels fully aligned with your lifestyle.

 
 

Preparing for Installation Day

A little preparation goes a long way toward a smooth install. Before installation day, we recommend clearing the area as much as possible. Fragile items should be moved to a safe place, and personal belongings stored out of the way.

Confirming access details ahead of time helps avoid delays. This includes parking, building rules, and any timing restrictions.

If there are specific preferences around lighting levels, furniture placement, or art height, communicating those ahead of time allows us to incorporate them without issue.

Installation day should feel exciting, not stressful. Clear expectations help make that happen.
