Our design process
Our full-service approach follows a four-step framework supported by five detailed phases.
Step 1: Discovery and Consultation
We begin with a Questionnaire, followed by our Discovery Call, where we discuss the scope of your project. Next up is your In-Home Consultation, where we learn how you live, what you value and how you want your space to perform. This step includes the Discovery and Consultation phases, during which we explain project goals, review your budget, confirm your timeline, and explore your aesthetic preferences. Trevor personally leads each conversation so that your story guides every design choice that follows.
Step 2: Design and Creative Exploration
Once the vision is clear, the design phase unfolds focusing on creativity. We take measurements and photos of your existing space and begin to build the look and feel - color palettes, sample materials and more. These begin to form the look of your future space. Floor plans take shape, room flows are studied, and textiles are selected to build sensory provoking combinations.
We collaborate with trusted vendors and suppliers to source furnishings that feel both personal and thoughtfully scaled to your home. By the end of this phase, we prepare a comprehensive "Design Plan” presentation that reveals your interiors as they will soon be, including material boards, furniture selections, finishes, and all design elements curated specifically for you. This is where the project transforms into something visual, tangible, and exciting.
Step 3: Procurement and Project Management
After your design is approved, we shift into full project management. This is where our thorough approach becomes essential. We handle proposals, purchase orders, custom item production, contractor coordination, and detailed communication across all trades. From electricians and carpenters to wallpaper installers, art installers, and window treatment specialists, we keep every professional aligned with the approved design.
Shipping is monitored, receiving and inspection are managed, and deliveries are scheduled with care. This stage reflects the Project Management phase, blending logistics with experienced oversight so that every element supports the final vision. Your role becomes refreshingly simple. You get to enjoy the anticipation while we handle the complexities that bring the project to life.
Step 4: Installation and Reveal
Installation is the moment when your home takes full shape. Our team brings all the elements into the space. Furnishings are placed, artwork is hung, accessories are styled, and beds are dressed so precisely that they invite you to step right in. Every final detail is considered until the environment feels complete.
This step includes the Styling and Accessorizing phase, where personality comes forward. Once everything is ready, we guide you through your reveal experience, engaging all of your senses. Oh yes, there will be champagne and hors d'oeuvre. Every room has a story, and walking through it for the first time offers a moment of joy that we love sharing with our clients.
